IE9 aks for a download dir when opening a tab

my system ie9 with win 7 64 bit
every time i open a tab or site it asks for a download dir please help it is driving me up the wall oh by the way im not downloading anything it wont open a site till i give it a dir

Hello,

Try this 1

Try resetting your "Internet Explorer Settings".

Click on the below hyperlink "Fix" and download the file.

Fix

Double-click on it and follow the onscreen instructions.

Sorry still asks for download dir every time i open a web page
