All programmes opening with windows media player

hai,

i getting this problem after i tried to open a shortcut file in my USB,
after that all programmes are opening with W media player.

any help will b most apreciated

Hello,

Try this 1

First backup your registry.

Click on Start --> In search bar, type regedt32 and press Enter.

"Registry Editor" will be opened. Click on "File" --> Export --> Save the file with

any name in your desired location.

Click on the below hyperlink "Fix" and download the file.

Fix

Double-click on "Registry File" --> Click on "Yes".

Restart your PC.

hai jack.
still this file regedt32 opening with windows media player only.so it dosent have an option for xport.so what i hav to do.can i cut i& paste it.is der any peculiar place for desired folders.

Hello,
Try this 1
If you are having problem opening the registry editor also then download the above given registry file and double-click on it --> Click on Yes.
Restart your PC.
Or
Let me know if you are able to open the command prompt.

hai jack

I still couldn't open any programmes like Skype or google chrome /all d installed games too .pls help me I was ot of station upto this /is it cumplsory for me 2 format d system./. pls help me out this situation

I tried to download .FIX. the link u hAV send me bt even tat also showing me d same msg like earlier.it shaos like COULDNT BE DOWNLOADED
