I know it's my fault that there is so much rubbish in my PC. My question, if I go back to the manufacturer's default settings will I lose my photographs? Probably sounds like a very silly question but although I get on very well with my PC I am 75 and a bit of a technoidiot! Any help will be most gratefully received.

Hello,

Yes, if you do restore to manufacturer's settings, you will loose all of your saved data including pictures. Best is to save it your pictures on to a pen drive before you restore.

Thank you so much Ambucias for replying, and so quickly. I now know to protect my precious pictures. Grateful that you took the time and made the effort to help me. I'm such a novice but keen to learn.

Thanks again.
