Thanks for your reply. I have bought a cable of HDMI, but there is no port of HDMI in my laptop.

Hi sharmamadhukar,
Dell Vostro 1015 model has the VGA connector only. The two technologies viz. VGA and HDMI are totally different. You cannot use a cable that can convert the signal from VGA to HDMI. Please check the below mentioned hyperlink, this has a video which will guide you to setup a VGA to HDMI connection:
