Try formatting it in Disc Management which you will find in Computer Management.
Start. Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disc Management in the left hand column, right click on your flash drive and choose format. You may get a message This volume may not be compatible with previous versions of Windows etc ignore this and click ok This is because the pendrive is FAT and the hard drive is NTFS
