How to kick iphone 3g from recovery mode

I was trying to reset my iPhone 3g then it got stuck, its just showing usb pointing to the iTunes that's it, pliz help.

Any time the phone doesn't recognize the sim, you should remove the sim, reseat it and reinstall it in the phone. If the phone was originally "jailbroken" the ios would undo that hack and now the phone will only work with the carrier that had the original lock. Unless of course you were to get it re jailbroken.
