I have a micro sd card, in an adapter, and inserted in my computer. When I go to My Computer, the folder does not show. When I go to Computer Management > Disk Management, I can see the new drive appears (called I:) but I cannot access the folder. Please help!!

I suggest you take the card out of the adapter and carefully clean the contacts with a new pencil eraser. Then try again.

You may have damaged the card with static electricity at some time and it can't be repaired.

Both the adapter and memory card are brand new, fresh out of the package.

I can see the drive I: appear in Disk Management screen when the card is inserted, and hear a "ding" sound when the card is inserted and when it is removed, but I cannot access the folder for the files on the memory card.

Any other suggestions??
