If you have a US version of your laptop I'm sure that you don't have a built in bluetooth module in your device , I read some article about this and only European models have the built in bluetooth of that kind of model. If you have a European model, you can turn it on by pressing the key that has a signal icon on it. I hope it helps and have a good day.
