LCD Screen got messed up.

I brought my laptop to school for a project one day and when I got home, I dropped my backpack on the ground because I was tired. I didn't think that it would harm the laptop but when i opened it, there was just a black spot in the top left corner. I thought it would go away if I restarted my computer, but it was still there. When I touched the screen, the black spot spread. I put my palm on the screen to see what would happen and then a white blotch spread out and now it looks like this. How much does it cost to replace? I only had this laptop for a year.
