I have tried changing Bio setting to "Legacy and UEFI modes" but at the second step of the installation when setup is expanding the files on the hard drive I get a "Blue screen". Please I need help

Hi mikeoe2003,

What is the exact text of the error message you receive with the Blue Screen? If it is a typical Blue Screen of Death, you will receive an error code in the format 0x000000xx, please add the same text in your reply else, try to upload a picture (snap) of the error screen here.

Hi mikeoe2003,

Have you added any additional hardware component in your Inspiron 7720 such as memory modules, hard drive(s), wireless card(s), mouse, keyboard, etc.? If you receive a "Stop: 0x0000000A" error message during the installation of Windows, there might be a problem with the hardware components installed on your computer. If any new hardware component was not added then, try running Dell ePSA on your computer. Click the below mentioned hyperlink to find a video tutorial on how to run the test:

If the test returns any error code, please add the exact text of the error code in your reply.
