Hi my computer has been crashing recently and as a fix I tried removing my ram (4x 2gb sticks) I left one in and my conputer booted up and worked but I couldn't run games on 2gb RAM so I tried installing the other 3 sticks.
After doing this my computer made a beeping noise over and over with 3 beeps - 1 longer and 2 shorter. Are my RAM sticks broken? Or is there some other issue?? Thanks

Greetings

This article will help you identify the beep messages.

If it's a ram stick problem, it would ne advisable to clean the sticks with a soft cloth.

The most powerful stick must always be inserted in the first slot and so on.

You should also clean the slots with compressed air, not a vacuum cleaner.

Good luck
