Yahoo keeps asking me for "verification"

i can't access my mail. it started when I got log in errors on my phone so I removed my account there and tried to log in again, but now it keeps saying that my password or id is wrong. I tried logging in on my pc but it kept on asking "what's the name of your youngest child?" to verify my account. I don't even remember picking that security question. is there any way to recover my account? i've had this email address since I was in the 5th grade (i'm 18 now) and it would really suck if I had to make a new one since almost all my accounts are tied to it.
