Compare 2 lists of names

Hello,

I have 2 lists of names with last name and first name. However, one on list there is a comma and a middle initial on the other there is just last name and first name. I know that some people are missing from one of the lists. How do I compare them since they are not formatted the same?

Hi Wiesh,

Excel's text delimiter option could be an easy solution for you.

In Excel 2003 it is found in the top menu's under "Data".
