Hello,
I installed a new wireless router TRENDNET TEW-432BRP, up and running. from laptop with which I set up router (lenovo 3000 N200, Vista home) I connect without any problem both thru wireless and thru lan cable (when connected) my other laptop Compaq Presario F750US doess not recognize network at all i.e. when trying to connect my router does not show up. SSID broadcast is on. I tried manualy connecting, didn't work either. Compaq does recognize other wireless networks in area. I'm running with Vista home, Avast antiVirus and windows firewall. since around a week ago compaq does not connect with LAN either, not thru router and not direct to modem. get IP 169.254.etc. at friends connects with LAN? ANT IDEAS? PLEASE?

hi,
try resetting you router and then configure it again.
Log into the Router by entering it's IP address into a browser.
The default IP address is http://192.168.1.1.
At the login, enter your username (admin) and password (admin).
