i have restored factory settings on my sony vaio. after following prompts to activate new settings...registration, internet, etc., i have come to the screen that says "preparing to configure windows, do not turn off computer". it has been configuring for well over 1-1/2 hrs.. does it really take that long? is it "stuck"? is there something i should do to move forward?

Not much to do except to hold down the power button until it powers down. Then restart the laptop and pray it works.
