External hard drive data corrupted and now drive undetectable

Ok I have an external hard disk from segate with a power adapter. I used to store my all the imp data in this one as it has the storage capacity of a tb. Was working fine for quite sometime until recently when I was watching a video it suddenly froze and then the drive stopped. I restarted my PC and it was showing the drive but taking too much time to read the data. Then after a while it stopped even showing the drive icon in my PC.Its showing in device manager under disk tab but not readable.

I want to first know how to make readable first and then get back all the data Please help I have lost my mind trying to fix it.
