Not able to see my files on my HD but they took space..

Hi,

My HD got virus and i lost my data.
But my HD is showing the occupency of DATA and i'm not able to see all my files and folders
if i try to open its showing empty.

So I performed what you suggested like "attrib -h -r -s /s /d h:\*.*" command but its showing ACCESS DENIED

So please help me in this as there are many important files and folders on my HD.

Although I have never been in your position - needed to recover important files. There are options I found doing a Google search ... "how to recover lost files from a hard drive"

There is always a pay option where you can have professionals do the rescue operation for you too. And remember, if it that important ... backup (local drive), backup (pen drive for small back ups), backup (off site or online storage) and backup (once more in a different country).
