When looking at the "Supported models" is my Samsung Galaxy 2s considered one of these: Some feature phones, Smart Phones and Tablets before Sept 2013
Was the phone made before 2013 and is it considered a Smart Phone or an Android? Or are they the same?

It's an Android Smart Phone. You probably need the older version of Kies (I think it's 2.xx something). My new Galaxy S III mini would not work with Kies Windows 3 version.
