Hello,

how old is your laptop?

is it under warranty?

If so, have you contacted HP support?

turning your computer off during a BIOS update can seriously cock up the motherboard.

Hi
Kieferschild's is correct "turning your computer off during a BIOS update can seriously cock up the motherboard. "

Have you tried safe mode ? What about factory reset?

If you contact HP support they will be able to assist you better. You have warranty so i suggest you use it. You will need your laptop serial number. Go on to HP's website and get technical contact details and go from there. If your laptop isnt even seeing Windows you wont be able to get in to Safe Mode.
