Usb mouse not working

Hello,

I was using my Toshiba Satellite and it froze up. I turned it off and then back on and my mouse pad stopped working. My cursur will move and highlight an icon but will not follow the command when clicked. I tried the function key and f9 and nothing.

Hi I recently moved all the stuffs of my computer into another one and now I cant use the usb port in the front panel any idea guys? Before I moved all the front usb panel was working fine and now isn't working..

My USB HDD's are not recognized on new laptop although they work well on my other laptop and PC. This is true for both mains powered and USB powered hard disk drives. The external drives do not appear in Device Manager (Windows 8.1) but a sound is made by the PC when a connection is made. Note USB flash drives work on all ports.
What should I do to rectify the problem?

Hello! I have a Toshiba laptop that I've had for about 2 years. The cursor has recently became frozen or disappears altogether. I've tried using F5 and it does nothing. I've turned my laptop on and off and it still won't work. I downloaded an antivirus software to make sure there wasn't some sort of virus on my laptop preventing the mouse from working as well, and that still didn't fix it. I've discovered if I hold down the left click button and drag, the mouse will work, but that's the only time and it's extremely aggravating. My cursor is frozen, the touchpad does not work. I connected external mouse through USB port and it worked fine.

Any idea on how to solve it?
