Hello,

From the past years of which there have been incidents of people's documents turning to shortcuts, I am glad to state that there is a simpler solution to recover and further prevent infections to and from the USB Drive by using a software called Flash Rescue which you can download at http://flashrescue.atwebpages.com

If there is any other method I would appreciate knowing it. I just know that currently the most known methods are using the manual means by using the command prompt. Hoever, this software does it automatically whenever you insert you usb thumb drive.

Thanks for reading. I hope this helps.

Hello,

The better and fullest method currently :

# Download UsbFix on your computer, and execute it.
# It will launch automatically, and a shortcut will be created on your desktop.
# Connect all your external data sources to your PC (Usb keys, external drives, etc...) Do not open them.
# Choose " Deletion " option.

#The computer wille re-start, and it may be longer than usually.

# UsbFix will display a message at re-start.

# Click "OK" to start cleaning.
# Copy/paste the report here.
