Adata USB drive not showing up in My Computer

Hi all
I have an Adata 32GB flash drive, and when I put it into my USB drives, the laptop makes a sound that it has been inserted, but it doesnt show up in Computer. It is underneath Disk Management, but it says NO MEDIA.

When I show the hidden items in Computer, the flash drive comes up, but I cannot format it, I cannot change its name.

Underneath the drive's properties, it says the type is UNKNOWN...



How can I fix this?

Hello mafiaandre, there is a big possibility that your Flashdrive is damage. Nevertheless, Try to insert it in different ports or it is better to insert it on different machine. If it is still detected but unusable, time to find another one.

The problem could be your computer, your OS, your PC might be infected by virus or your Flash Drive?

Hi, it does not work on my 2 pc's. I've tried it in every available port...

I've got strong anti virus software on both and I scan my PC's daily.

The flash drive worked on my friends PC a while ago, but now it doesn't...
