Unable to open hidden files

hello . i have a problem with my computer. i copied some hidden video files to my computer but i cnt open it since it is hidden even after i disabled hide option. when check on the properties it is shown read only. i tried undoing it but not succed. i use a win7 32 bit os in my computer. please help me.

have you tried un - checking the option where it says hide protected operating system files???

there is one thing you can try
open CMD
go to where the file is
type
attrib -r -s -h filename

this should remove the read only attribute
