My new laptop keeps shutting off

Hi, I'm new here and I'm not very tech savvy. But I've been having this problem with my laptop lately. I got as a gift this christmas. It keeps shutting off whether it's plugged in or not, sometimes it reboots. I just use it to do homework and play the sims 3. Any help would be greatky appreciated.

Hi Mango,

Certainly, aside from homework and Sims, you must be using your laptop to browse and downloading stuff. Your laptop, although it is a Toshiba, seems to have sufficient power to handle Sims and homework.

Looks to me that a virus has invaded your system.

Go to the following link, download and install ZHP Diag to produce a report on your system. Ensure to read and follow the instructions.
