Desktop screen stays dark

Hi all, it seems like my CPU fail to load till desktop page.
After switching on the CPU, it can load through bios and even show the windows XP loading page but just show a black screen after. Mouse cursor is shown and can be move but that's just it. Crtl-alt-del doesn't get me anywhere too.

Using wins XP sp2 64bit.

Try removing the video card and connected the VGA to the motherboard port.
