Double check connection. IF conneciton good, see if BIOS sees it. IF bios desnt see it, it dead!

BIOS see the hard disk drive with serial number.

This is related Hard Drive corruption?
Ok, so did the partition fail, or are you building it and forgot to mark it as active and bootable.
Take out the drive and put it behind another OS and see if you can gain access to it. Maybe run a chkdsk on it while it is behind th eother OS.

I am attempting to take that failure HDD to plug as external USB.. and run the scan..
But first i will try to run live boot and scan with HDD checking.
