WHEN I DOWNLOAD FROM SAVE FROM.NETHELPER, AND I CLICK ON THE FILE I GET MESSAGE SAYING CANNOT OPEN FILE, IT NEEDS TO HAVE A PROGRAMME ASSOCIATED WITH IT.IM LOST AT THIS POINT,

I gave you an example. Look above. What type of file is it? What are the last letters in the file, after the "." [period]?

Like I have written a file called "tech_ticket.asp". It is an ASP file, which is served by an "Active Server Page" enabled machine. It knows what to do with an ASP file.

Let me know what the "extension" is. Maybe like, .zip?

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY, I HAVE JUST CLICKED ON THE FILE IN DOWNLOADS+IT IS A MUSIC FILE +THIS MESSAGE APPEARED FLV FILE 102 MB. IT SAYS I NEED TO ASSOCIATE A PROGRAMME TO OPEN IT, THERE IS NO EXEC OR"" THAT I CAN SEE.

back again,i think the penny may have dropped.i have downloaded the same album twice,1st time MP4 THEN FLV240, THE LATTER ONE OPENED WITH VLC PLAYER, I PRESSUME THIS IS THE PROGRAMME NEEDED TO OPEN IT? THE MP4 ONE IS WHEN THE PROBLEM OCCURS+THE MESSAGE ABOUT ASSOCIATING WITH A PROG APPEARS
