I have this problem since months. As soon as i insert my pendrive in my laptop it shows a loading in the right bottom corner of the taskbar and then nothing happens. I mean no response by the computer. When I insert it again, then there will be no loading and no response. I have tried this many times and fed up with it. If anyone can help me out with this problem then I would be thankful to you.

After plugging in the device, go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again. I think this should solve the problem.
