Which operating systems are used by mobiles?.

Q. As we know that every computers use operating systems, operating systems are the basic programs that manage all the computer functions including providing interfaces, controlling hardwares, organizing files, running Application softwares and connecting over the networks, Q. Is that what operating systems are used by mobiles?, as we well known windows, ms dos, unix, linux, solaries operating systems of micro computers.

Of course cell phones used OS. For the same tasks you just described:

For smartphones, you have:
- Apple -> iOS (iPhone OS)
- Google -> Android
- Windows Mobile -> Windows
- BlackBerry -> BlackBerry OS
- Samsung -> Tizen

Before smartphone:
- Nokia -> Symbian OS
