I have a Patriot Swing usb drive 4 GB, supplied by Patriot in March 2014.
Ha been working very well till yesterday and then got msg that drive not recognized.
Using Total Commander, I can see drive e: as the drive, but when I click on thet does not open Tried free version of Recuva, but after scanning it said "unable to determine file system type"
Tried 2 recover softwares and both could bring out the deleted files in scans, but need to register ,if I want to recover ,costing about $70, which I cannot afford to spend.

So in googling this subject ,saw
Pen drive show empty even when data exists [Solved]

I then tried to use the command attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* , replacing g: by e:\
that results "path not found "

I need urgent help to recover my files

You have tried the steps I would have recommended. I can't see any way to recover your data at this point.
