Recover USB drive from 15 monutes ago

Do you know how to restore a USB drive back to an earlier date? Somehow my files were all deleted of my 16GB flash drive about 15 minutes ago and I don't have a backup. There is nothing in my recycle bin either. The files just disappeared. Is there a log or something that I can run to see what happened or how to get the files back?? Please help!! Thank you!!

check out a program called Recuva. It might be able to restore the files. Google the name for a download location.
