Could not able to view the picures taken from phones camera

Hi I use samsung galaxy ace phone few weeks back i took pictures and videos from my phone but now when i see my phone i could not able to view the files or the folder plz help me to get back the files

Why couldn't you see your pictures? They are not in the Gallery?

thanx for u r time i dont know where the pictures are gone i even tired to recover by using recuva software only the pictures taken from camera has gone the rest pictures are there safe plzz help me with this issue
