Can I hide or disable the new View Once (1) button?

Using WhatsApp on Android, and now there is a "view once" button right next to the message send arrow button! I am constantly fat fingered and hitting both at once, when I do NOT want to use view once.

We need a setting to hide or move this button!

WhatsApp added an optional “View Once” setting to its in-application camera, which allows users to send photos and videos in chats that can only be viewed a single time. ... You can tap the number one icon again if you decide to turn this setting off before sharing the photo or video in the chat.

Thank you. But unfortunately I don't usually even realize that I have tapped this button. This new option is right next to the Send button, and it is all too easy to press both buttons!
This is a good feature, but poorly implemented.
