Hi,
What driver? and what operating system are you using.
Look for your laptop/pc drivers on a different computer (school or friend's) and download them onto a flash drive. Use the flash drive to install the drivers on your computer.
Good luck!

Hi,
I need some clarifications here, so that I can try to help you. It would be helpful if you share with us the HDD model, why did the recovery failed and is the HDD not recognized issue comes after a clean OS installation. Is this the bootable drive? The drive should install the necessary drivers after booting, so could you confirm that your drive is working fine and is accessible from another PC? Is the drive detected in BIOS? If not, switch SATA ports.
