Hi
After plugging in the device, go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to the PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again.

1.Check the USB port is enabled and powered.
2.Plug the product then go to device manager (Right click the My computer icon,
properties, hardware, device manager)
3.Click + next to the Universal serial bus controllers or other device to see if anything
that is with yellow question mark or green exclamation mark.
4.Please choose it and update the driver. You may choose Windows Update or from
the CD-ROM. (Please insert Microsoft Windows XP/2000/ME CD). This device should
show as a USB mass storage device in USB Controllers, and the driver positionshould be C:WINDOWSsystem32driversusbstor.sys.
