Hi there,
I would try with the attrib command from the command prompt. Write attrib -h -r -s /s /d z:\*.* , where
"z" is the letter of the USB flash. This solution sometimes resolves the hidden files issue. Give it a try. You could check the drive on different PCs.

Well, that is unfortunate. I hoped that this would solve it. Could you try the same in Safe Mode with CMD? Can you confirm that "show hidden files" is checked from the folder options? Check on a different PC, even on a different OS.
