Hi, I have been troubleshooting trying to start up latitude D800 and am not having any luck. And I dont have a phone or money at this time to call. Can someone help?
I have good power for BOTH the battery and the ac adapter. However I have no lights and computer still will not power up, even after static reset. It was fine yesterday, I did a full virus scan, went to bed and powered it off. Today my plans were to factory restore but I am not having ANY luck getting it to turn or power on in several location.
PLS HELP!
THANKS!

Hello there.
Try the following steps:

1. remove the battery and power cord
2. push and hold down the power button for 45 seconds
3. restore battery and power cord
4. restart the laptop

Hope it helps :)

Like I had mentioned in the beginning, I have done that. I have also checked the battery and the power source of which both work properly. I have tried the power button with both the f8 and fn as well.

Ok well it could be that the battery is dead without u knowing so lets check if your computer gets power at all.

1)check if the power source your connected is working plug a lamp and see if it lights up

2)Carefully inspect the power receptacle on the laptop for damage.

3)Remove your battery and try.

4) Remove any else which is connected to ur pc example pendrive, harddisk.

5)Try a other power source
