I did not say anything!
You have posted in the Windows 8 forum!
What is the make and model of your machine?
Why do you wish to reset to factory settings?
What did you do before the problem occured that prompted you to reset?

sorry, I saw a post earlier about this.... I have a Toshiba L750-A7283 windows 8... I only get a blue screen when I turn it on, then "Toshiba" comes up and back to blue screen... I tried to do a factory reset (hold the zero (0) down and tap the power button, it will ask me if I want to do a hard drive recovery and I click on YES... then no other screen comes up

Hi
I'am afraid that you only read part of the procedure to reset to factory settings.
You must follow this procedure to the letter:
https://ccm.net/faq/4811-restore-toshiba-laptop-to-factory-settings
Good luck
P.S. I would appreciate what is written on the blue screen.
I also sympatize with you as Toshiba has recurrent issues, all kinds of them.

I did just what it said to do, but only the first screen came up and I selected YES... the other screens did not come up
