Set the iPod as USB, you can transfer music from iPod to computer. Or sync your songs to iTunes, then Edit > Preferences > Advanced > "Copy files to Itunes folder when adding to library"
Then copy the music from the location Windows 7 and Windows 8: Navigate to \Users\username\My Music\iTunes.
Or 3rd-party software like O2Tunes, Sharepod
