Hello

hi, you give the ans of this type of problems like change the bios setting

Perform the below steps to disable SATA Native support in BIOS :

1. Turn on or restart the notebook.

2. Press the F10 key when the "HP Invent" logo appears on the screen. This will open the BIOS menu.

3. Select the "System Configuration" tab.

4. Select "Disabled" for the "SATA Native Support" item.

5. Press F10 to Save and Exit. Choose Yes for "Save configuration changes and exit now".

But in my laptop this option is not available

so give me a right solution how to install the win xp

The only way to do this is to "slip stream" the SATA drivers into the Windows XP install disk. I suggest you Google "slip stream" to read more about this solution.

Good luck
