HP laptop screen stop working after a clean up

Hi guys
Im having hard time now with my laptop
The secreen is doing weird stuff such as flashing, the image goes down and as is diplicate and keep duplicating
This happened after i have opened my Hp DV5 for a clean up
I cleaned the fan, and i put new thermal paste, basically i replaced the thermal past with new one
And i assembled it and turned it on, fan amazing everything wonderful but screen stay black
I stayed trying for arround 2-3 hours to see whats going on, i took off ram and put it back and then the screen start working but as i said perviously, messed up secreen..
So now im lost and dont know what to do

What you do is buy a new laptop. Or spend a few hundred dollars to have a computer repair shop take a look at it.

the screen connection may not be secure. or you have not taken enough care with thermal paste etc.,

unassemble it again check all connections
