Dear Ambucias,
You've mentioned that your laptop does not pick up any Wireless signals.
There could be many reasons for the same. To trouble shoot this issue further, please provide the following clarifications:
1) When was the laptop last able to receive a signal and work fine.
2) Was there any hardware/Software/Firmware/Other updates, Installations after which you have started experiencing this issue.
3) Is the WIFI button on the laptop turned to ON. It may have been switched OFF by sliding by somone. Are you able to view the Wireless connection on the takbar?
4) Which laptop are you using?
