Pendrive is not detecting

any pen drive is not working in our HCL computer. I tried device manager, registry also everything is fine still it is not detecting, while inserting pen drive sound is coming but it is not showing. please give the exact solution to solve the problem.

After plugging in the device, go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again

Check your pen drive on another computer to confirm that inbuilt USB ports of your HCL computer isn't damaged or corrupt. If the device shows into device manager, consider formatting it to start everything from scratch.

Keep in mind that formatting will erase everything and you'll not be able to recover it in future.
