would not boot no way no recovery no ntldrfiles and about 200 more missing. downloaded full install win xp started to installing then wow to my dislike it is in French. now I can not use the 6 floppys or any other iso or xp any tells me wrong system disk help have product code on top computer for cd but I did some thing wrong so how do I fix it

You could download Killdisk on another computer. Copy it to a floppy and use it on your computer. Killdisk will erase the hard drive and that should allow you to install any OEM version of Windows XP. Be sure you have a OEM version since the "product code" is not valid for the Home version of Windows. Just Google the name for a download location.

That an OLD SLOW computer - hardly worth the effort to recover. Perhaps Linux is a better OS for you to be using.
