Dell inspiron n5110 startup takes 3-4 hours

Hello,
My dell is really slow when it starts up it literally takes 3-4 hours before it starts and when it does start eventually I can't manage to open a single application not even the windows taskbar. I tried to open it with Ubuntu live CD but it is even slower. Help me out?!
