write protected sandisk 16 gb pendrive Closed

my sandisk 16gb pendrive is showing write protected when I am going to format it . what will I do now. please anybody help me.

1. insert the pendrive
2. dont open or format it directly
3. right click on my computer and go to manage
4.in computer managment window click on disk managment option
5. right click on the removable disk (i,h....)
6. select format

Hey nitiparth. Take a look at the first three methods from this article: https://www.wikihow.com/Disable-Write-Protection
They might prove useful. Also, I think the manufacturer has a formatting tool which you could try as well.

i tried all these methods . and stil I am having the probem of write protection. what will I do?

is there any tool available from sandisk for formatting or un-write protecting the sandisk flashdrive of 16 gb . ??

That's very unfortunate. And yes, they do have a formatting tool, just look it up in Google or in their website, I think it was named sd formatter tool. But if that doesn't do the trick and the USB flash drive is not recognized on any computer, perhaps it might have failed. :(
