Hi,
Due to WriteProtectOption in Registry,it does not allow your pendrive to format.So You follow
1.Go to Run->regedit
2.MyComputer->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->CurrentControlSet->Control -> StorageDevicePolicies
3.Delete the StorageDevicePolicies in Your Registry.
Now You can format the Pendrive
Thanks,
Arun

Well the answer to all your grevience is verry simple. remember when u baught the pendrive it had come with some packing. well most of them threw it away and some kept it. the answer lies it that packing. if u see there are some serial numbers behind the pack. all u have to to is go to transcend site and insert the series number and u will be on your way to formating it online. trust me guys it works. I was about to buy a new pen drive and finally found a solution to this problem I was facing. hope I have helped you people , with ur pendrive problems. n e more problems u can mail me on Email Id removed for security see ya
