Pendrive Virus! Need Help!

Hello,
Hi anybody know how to solve my prob?? Acctually i hv prob regarding my pendrive. When i insert pendrive to my laptop, it can't open instead of appearing an icon of 'Removable Disk'. It seems my laptop cant detect my pendrive. When i try to open it, now it will appear a notification that i must format my USB pendrive if i want to use it. I do try format it but once again the notification box appear with '.....formating was unable...'.
i tried the same thing to others laptop n the results still the same. Is anybody had an idea how to remove the virus?? or is my pendrive really infected by virus???
