yes i have a 3.5 IDE hard drive to USB 2.0
connected to xbox hd and connected to usb .

Did you try to connect the hardrive to your pc?
First of all is your xbox 1 modded,
If it is then you can use a ftp program like 2 flashfxp
then connect to it that way.
If you have a un-modded xbox then you cant realy do much cos the hdd is locked to the xbox so if you connect it to your pc the pc cant read it.
might be a good idear to modd it its easy.
there are two modds you can do hard modd install a chip it the xbox ( means you have to open the xbox )
or Softmodd that means you dont have to open it just install software onto it you will need 1 of 3 games and a memory card
