Outlook e mail problems

I have a problem with my outlook e mail. Cannot send mails but receive mails.

I receive the following message: 0x80042109

If you can receive but not send, then check your SMTP settings. You must configure a SMTP to authenticate against! Go to outlook .com to see what it should be.
